One special attraction of latex reside is its smooth shiny surface. However, this also requires regular care, otherwise it looks dull and the material sticks together. By chlorinating latex, the surface is chemically etched and permanently changed. As a result, the material appears rather silky matt to silky shiny and is somewhat less elastic. The surface does not stick together, but rather glides like nylon.
Another important feature of chlorinated latex is that it can no longer be glued again or can only by intensive pretreatment. This can be a disadvantage even with a small repair. Ultimately, however, both variants need care. Even if the luster is not the focus of chlorinated latex, the VIVISHINE care products prevent it from getting grey veils.
